Trade may be new shade of bonhomie

Abstract:
He said they have welcomed Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal's openness for strengthening trade ties between the East and West Punjab with the help of the Centre. "We have also welcomed Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Amritsar with sufficient compensation to the land owners. A full-fledged multi-product SEZ for the city will be a force multiplier to the economic activity of the entire subcontinent," he said, adding that scores of NRIs with interests in IT, nanotechnology, biotechnology and other varied industries were keen on participating in industrial and commercial revival of the Holy City.
