Abstract:
NanophaseTechnologies (Nasdaq: NANX), a technology leader in nanomaterials and advanced nanoengineered products, announced that the Company was issued U.S. Patent No. 7,166,663, entitled "Nanostructured Compositions". The patent describes nanostructured polymeric compositions, containing micron-sized and nano-sized particulate materials, which display synergistic improvements in mechanical properties with significantly enhanced optical properties. Processes for manufacturing the nanostructured compositions are also patented.
