Dwarf robot takes the bow at contest
Abstract:
The model of a nano-scale robot designed to treat diseases such as clogged arteries and tumours has fetched the Champions of Champions title for a three-member team from Velammal School at the recently-concluded nanotechnology symposium at Singapore.
P. Karthikraj, R. Anuradha and J. Sanjana came home richer by $ 600. The team had to beat 45 schools to bag the top prize at the `Life Sciences Symposium' organised by the Anglo-Chinese School (Independent).
