Glitz and Google -- tech titan tosses A-list bash for X Prize Foundation

Abstract:
Founded by Peter Diamandis, the goal of this educational nonprofit institute is to create "radical breakthroughs for the benefit of humanity."

The foundation is expanding with a $50 million capital campaign (of which $17 mil is already in the bank) for future prizes in genomics, transportation, education, energy, society, nanotechnology and medicine.
