Appointment of LITMUS Defense CEO to Nanotechnology Board

Houston, TX | Posted on February 9th, 2007

The Alliance is a non-for-profit corporation established in 2006 to advance economic development in the State of Colorado, with a focus on the use of nanotechnology. The Alliance partners with universities, industry, and government to advance Colorado's economic development efforts in five nanotechnology related target areas: leadership, business growth, research and technology transfer, workforce development, and public education and societal change.

Bill Nevius has close to thirty years' experience in the aerospace industry. As a US government acquisition professional he is certified in program management, systems engineering and test and evaluation, and is recognized as an expert in related technology transfers. Bill has also held senior management and executive level positions at Ball Aerospace & Technologies Corp., Avtec Systems Inc., and Wave Technologies Inc. Bill earned a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and an MSc in Aeronautical Engineering and is also a certified Naval Test Pilot.

Mark Diggs, Chief Executive Officer of LITMUS, commented: "We are honored that Bill will be representing LITMUS on the Board of an organization that is such a strong advocate for technology. Our robust portfolio of companies has evolved from a tried and tested methodology and we look forward to offering our support and further help to the Alliance."

Debbie Woodward, Executive Director of the Alliance said: "We are delighted that LITMUS will be represented on our Board both because of the Company's strong nanotechnology expertise and also of its experience and vision in the development, transition and commercialisation of such technology. The US National Science Foundation predicts nanotechnology will produce a US$1 trillion global market by 2015 and we intend to ensure Colorado, with LITMUS' help, is at the forefront of such developments."

LITMUS, LLC is a global technology innovator which identifies disruptive technologies and services that can provide unique commercial solutions to significant unmet market needs. The Company's alternative approach to traditional funding and business development models enables it to then create revolutionary technology companies before scaling each one towards a liquidity event.

The LITMUS management team has rigorously applied its business methodology to create the following portfolio of divisions and subsidiaries: LITMUS nanoTechnology, LITMUS FQI, LITMUS RAPID-B and LITMUS Molecular Design. LITMUS has also created two subsidiaries that complement the Company's technology portfolio and enhance the execution of LITMUS' business methodology in LITMUS Defense and LITMUS Consulting.
