Christian P Schindler - new Director General, ITMF

Abstract:
Christian P Schindler is the new Director General of the Zurich based International Textile Manufacturers Federation, from January, 2007.

"In general the global demand for textiles will continue to rise due to a growing world population and higher income levels in many developing countries. At the same time the demand of more sophisticated textile applications will increase as well due to new technical developments and possibilities in areas such as nanotechnology,' opined Schindler.
