Nanotechnology: Mainstream Impact: Tiny size, big effect

Abstract:
Even so, during a recent trip to Bass Pro Shops in Broken Arrow, Minson was taken aback to learn that the RedHead line of human scent-elimination products was made possible through nanotechnology. A microscopic infusion of silver in shampoos and deodorants promises to eliminate, not mask, human odor.

"I had no idea it was nanotech," Minson said. "I didn't realize silver could do that."
