Good News/Bad News for Piedmont Jobs Future

Abstract:
On Tuesday, economist Mark Vitner gave the good news/bad news address to a crowd of nearly 700 business and community leaders in Winston-Salem.

"The good news is we are gaining momentum," said Vitner. He added companies like Dell and other smaller companies are beginning to transform the area in biotechnology, nanotechnology and high-tech job fields.
