Universities plead for federal Fermi, Argonne funds

Abstract:
Besides an overall reduction of about 10% in its activities, Argonne won't be able to start using a $72-million nanotechnology research center that's near completion and will not be able to order a new supercomputer as planned, Mr. Rosner adds.
