Big possibilities linger in nano-sized packages

Abstract:
Dear Propeller Heads: I have been hearing a lot about nanotechnology in the news lately. What's the big deal?

A: Nanotechnology is the biggest little thing to come along since Emmanuel Lewis.

In the broadest terms, nanotechnology refers to the manipulation of matter smaller than a micron.
