The Nanomix Sensation™ platform enables detection of a broad array of chemical and bio molecules. It has high specificity and reproducibility, operates at room temperature, consumes little power, and permits both wireless integration and simple deployment.
"We are pleased to be working on this security application with the Department of Homeland Security," said David Macdonald, President and CEO of Nanomix. "As the first company to bring a nanoelectronic detection device to market, we have clearly demonstrated our leadership in this area. We bring unique technical expertise and experience to this project. Furthermore, all applications enabled by Sensation™ technology improve health or safety in some regard - this project is certainly consistent with that philosophy."
