Research partnership formed in Va.
SRI's drug research center, called CADRE, plans to add other high-technology programs in areas such as homeland security, engineering, nanotechnology, energy, information technology and education at this site. By the end of the first 10 years of operation, the project will create more than 100 new jobs with an average annual compensation of $85,000.
