Austin chip development plant sees success

Abstract:
The Austin plant does business with some of the giants of the chip industry as well. It also has helped some pioneering nanotechnology companies do early development work on potential products and tools for their infant industry. Economic development backers in Austin see the Sematech plant playing an important role in assisting the growth of a nanotech industry in Texas.
