UCLA team gets nanotechnology research grant

Abstract:
QuantumSphere Inc., a leading manufacturer of nano metals and alloys for applications in renewable energy, electronics and other markets demanding advanced materials, has announced that Professor Thomas Hahn and his team in the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering and Materials Science and Engineering Departments at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) have been selected to receive a research grant from QuantumSphere to validate the use of magnetic nanoparticles for various commercial applications.
