Partners in progress

Abstract:
If you aren't involved in cutting-edge scientific or medical research, nanotechnology may sound as far-fetched as something in a science fiction novel. After all, it's hard to imagine anything as small as a nanometer -- one billionth of a meter -- or real-world uses for such tiny measures of matter.
