Singapore to spend $50m to drive industry standards

Abstract:
$50 million has been set aside to develop the standards under four key thrusts. About $20 million will go towards building up Singapore's metrology or measuring capabilities, especially in emerging fields like biomedical, nanotechnology and infocomm.
