SMI announces the appointment of Mr. Dan Mentel as Operations Manager

Structured Materials Industries, Inc. (SMI) has appointed Mr. Dan Mentel as Operations Manager. Mr. Mentel brings a wealth of experience in MOCVD production and equipment servicing. Mr. Mentel began his career at Emcore and stayed with the TurboDisc Division when it was acquired by Veeco, holding positions including Field Operations Manager and Production Manager.
"SMI is very pleased to have Mr. Mentel join SMI. He brings the best of manufacturing organization skills, people skills and customer service to our growing business," stated SMI CEO and President, Dr. Gary S. Tompa.
