Ionic Fusion sees revenue from nanotech products
Abstract:
Among other things, Ionic Fusion produces thin films of zirconium nitride for Remington electric razors, to prolong the life of its cutters and foils. The company, which operates out of a 10,000-square-foot office space, has more than 100 customers, including Intel and battery-maker Rayovac Inc. But Ward said the company's most promising commercial prospect is in developing surfaces for medical devices and permanent implants.
