Abstract:
Jack Uldrich: Two articles in yesterday’s (March 27) Wall Street Journal caught my attention. The first was a front page article entitled “As Prices Surge, Oil Giants Turn Sludge Into Gold.” It discussed the economic opportunity that the tar sands of Canada represent. As I wrote a few weeks go in this article, ChevronTexaco and Headwaters — due to their respective investments in nanotechnology — appear nicely positioned to capitalize on this long-term opportunity.
