Ice hockey stick glides ahead with nanotubes

Abstract:
Finnish company Montreal Sports has incorporated multiwalled carbon nanotubes made by Bayer, Germany into its Nitro Lite range of ice hockey sticks. The sticks were on display at the Nanotech 2006 trade show in Tokyo in late February while German foreign minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier made a flying visit to take a look.
