UCB launches competition to develop Big Ideas
Abstract:
Students at the University of California, Berkeley now have some added incentive to transform their idealistic ideas about improving the world into reality: $100,000 in prize money. The Big program presently supports more than 20 student initiatives related to such topics as global public health, nanotechnology, and access to essential medicines for developing countries.
