mi2g marks 10 years by naming the Global Big-10

Abstract:
mi2g is honoured to celebrate its tenth birthday and marks the occasion by naming the Global Big-10 interlinked risks and opportunities of the 21st century identified by the mi2g Intelligence Unit: climate chaos, radical poverty, organised crime, extremism, informatics, nanotechnology, robotics, genetics, artificial intelligence and financial systems.

The Global Big-10 risks and opportunities of the 21st century, depend on 'Disruptive Innovation' to address and to begin to resolve some of the seemingly intractable yet interlinked confrontations. As those inherent confrontations accelerate and feed off each other's momentum they possess the capability to damage and to disrupt the delicate global dynamic equilibrium.
