Long Life Battery

Abstract:
In a world where technological advances are taken for granted, regular old batteries seem to have been left behind. But scientists hope to change that by using nanotechnology. This ScienCentral News video explains. The researchers hope to make their batteries non-toxic as well by using a process that neutralizes the cocktail of harmful chemicals inside at the end of a battery's life. They expect the nanobattery to be on the market in two to three years. (with Video)
