The Ontario Centres of Excellence (OCE) promotes the economic development of Ontario through directed research, commercialization of technology and training for highly qualified personnel. OCE Centres systematically integrate and manage connections from university to marketplace to ensure the successful application of innovative science and technology to profitable new businesses.
OCE is staging Discovery 2006 - the premier innovation networking event of the year with over 1,000 participants from business, academia, government and the financial community who have already registered. Feature speakers include Ontario Premier Dalton McGuinty; Tom Brzustowski, former President of NSERC and now RBC Professor in the Commercialization of Innovations; and Leonard Brody, author of Innovation Nation.
Of particular interest to CNBA members, Discovery 2006 will also feature a nanotechnology session with the following panellists:
