Urine-Powered Batteries

Abstract:
Singapore scientists at the Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (IBN) have developed the first urine-activated paper battery, making it the perfect power source for cheap, credit card-sized disposable healthcare test-kits for diseases such as diabetes.
