Applied Materials Announces Fourth Fiscal Quarter 2005

Abstract:
Applied Materials, Inc., (Nasdaq:AMAT) the world's largest supplier of wafer fabrication solutions to the global semiconductor industry, reported results for its fourth fiscal quarter ended October 30, 2005. Net sales were $1.72 billion, up 5 percent from $1.63 billion for the third fiscal quarter of 2005, and down 22 percent from $2.20 billion for the fourth fiscal quarter of 2004.
