IIT tech park promises investment for S. Side

Abstract:
Townsend Capital LLC, a privately held developer based in Towson, Md., is partnering with IIT on the project. Townsend will spend $42 million to transform the building into a state-of-the-art laboratory space that is hoped to attract biomedical, biotechnology, nanotechnology and energy- and wet-chemistry growth companies.
