Nanotechnology Emergence Generates High Expectations
Abstract:
Akhlesh Lakhtakia: "Think small, dream big" is a typical slogan about the promise of nanotechnology within the scientific research community. Once relegated to pure fiction, nanotechnology is becoming increasingly linked with advances in biotechnology and information technology.
(Ed.'s note: "Radical nanotechnology, the stuff of science-fiction thrillers, is nowhere on the technological horizon." - I respectfully disagree. See crnano.org for details.)
