Abstract:
Mike Treder: Change -- revolutionary change -- is a consistent theme in the first decade of the 21st century. Ray Kurzweil, Joel Garreau, the Accelerating Change Conference, the World Future Society, and many others are promoting this powerful meme.

In 2001, the RAND Corporation published a booklet titled "The Global Technology Revolution: Bio/Nano/Materials Trends and Their Synergies with Information Technology by 2015."
