Cleantech Q1 Funds Grow 4.8%

Abstract:
Investment in clean technologies like solar power and nanotechnology rose nearly 5 percent in the first quarter in North America and Europe, as investors bet that what may be good for the environment may also be good for their portfolios, a venture group said Wednesday. Advanced materials and nanotechnology investments increased to $83.5 million from $68.2 million in the year-ago quarter.
