Melding Gold to Iron Yields Versatile Nanocrystals
Abstract:
Magnetic iron nanocrystals have demonstrated an ability to enhance diagnostic images obtained using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and researchers are eager to use these nanoparticles to develop targeted imaging agents for detecting tumors at a much earlier stage than is now possible.
