Moving DNA into Nanotubes

Abstract:
One of the more promising uses of nanofluidic devices is to isolate and analyze individual biomolecules, such as DNA. That promise, which could lead to new detection schemes for cancer, is now closer to realization with the development of a simple nanofluidic device that can trap a single molecule of DNA within a silicon nanotube for a relatively long time.
