Nanotechnology Investing … Why now?

Abstract:
Alan B. Shalleck: Now is the time to invest in either private (for institutions) or public (for the general investor) because of where we are in the nanotechnology economic cycle (early) and because of what is coming next (a company roll-up).

Most sophisticated investors know that the best time to invest in a germinal economic disruption is “early.” We are early in the nanotech economic profitability cycle. “ Sustainable profitability,” signifying a maturing industry, is only beginning to appear in the nanotech revolution.
