RH-100: Nano Now

Abstract:
Hundreds of companies are building technology at the nanoscale, but there aren’t too many that have products, much less profits. Nano-Tex has both.

Yet after two profitable years in a row, CEO Donn Tice decided last year that he wasn’t satisfied, and raised $35 million in venture money to grow the company globally. Nano-Tex is tight-lipped about specific numbers, but between summer 2004 and spring 2005, it will have quadrupled its R&D staff and doubled its investment in sales and marketing. It is also increasing revenues in Europe and Asia.
