South African Nanotechnology initiative (SANi)

Abstract:
SANi objectives: to establish critical mass in nanotechnology R&D in South Africa for the benefit of all its citizens and hopes to achieve the following outcomes:

  • Increased Industry involvement and identified opportunities;
  • Improved industry R&D organisation - university links;
  • Larger local and international networks;
  • Increased R&D spending in nanotechnology; and
  • Projects that generate benefits for South Africa.
