South African Nanotechnology initiative (SANi)
Abstract:
SANi objectives: to establish critical mass in nanotechnology R&D in South Africa for the benefit of all its citizens and hopes to achieve the following outcomes:
- Increased Industry involvement and identified opportunities;
- Improved industry – R&D organisation - university links;
- Larger local and international networks;
- Increased R&D spending in nanotechnology; and
- Projects that generate benefits for South Africa.
