New membrane makes cheaper, stronger fuel cells

Abstract:
PolyFuel Inc. is pushing forward with ... a breakthrough fuel cell membrane technology – one the company claims offers dramatically superior performance and much lower cost.

The membrane uses a lattice of nano-structured hydrocarbons to support a grid of conductive blocks through which protons flow as the cell generates electricity.
