Oregon senators bring home the bacon
Abstract:
After some lean times, Oregon's U.S. senators have begun securing federal financing for an array of statewide projects.
Smith and Wyden secured $3.2 million for initiatives related to development in the North Macadam area. The money is earmarked as cash for "nanotech research"; the city hopes to attract several nanotech and biotech firms to the riverfront property.
