Facing the Ethical Challenges of Nanotechnology

Abstract:
Through the NANOMAT programme, the Research Council of Norway has assigned a special group to assess Norway's need for research on ethical, social, health-related, environmental and safety aspects of nanotechnology and new materials. The evaluation will focus on a general precautionary principle and on the possible international comparative research advantages of Norway.
