USC betting millions on nanoscience initiative
Abstract:
The university will invest $40 million in hiring 100 new researchers during the next three years. They probably won’t teach. Like (Richard) Webb, they’ll primarily be researchers.
Between state, university and grant dollars, more than $30 million has been invested in the new NanoCenter, a web of offices and research labs scattered around the campus.
