Faculty research, external funding increase
Ohio University's external funding for research and sponsored programs rose to $56.4 million in fiscal year 2004, which marked a high level of faculty research activity, according to an OU news release.
The College of Arts and Sciences boasted $17.8 million in research and sponsored programs last year, due in part to enhancements to the doctoral programs in nanotechnology and health psychology.
