Nanosys Awarded Defense Contract Worth Millions
Abstract:
Nanosys, Inc. announced that the United States Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) has awarded a contract to Nanosys and its collaborators to support the development of flexible low cost solar cells. The award has a potential value of approximately $14 million over a five year period. The initial 12 month Phase 1 of the program will include up to $2.2 million of funding to Nanosys and its collaborators.
