£4.5m grant to harness solar power
Abstract:
Bangor University is to spearhead a £4.5m project in search of cheap solar power. Professor Stuart Irvine will manage the research, involving six universities and seven companies. Prof Irvine, of Bethesda, will lead research to bring down solar power production costs using chemistry, electronics and nano-technology.
