Abstract:
Brad Thiel left 795-year-old Cambridge University for the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering five months before the school even opened. He said the college's newness was an advantage, not a detriment. "The older the place and the more prestigious the program, the more entrenched it tends to be," Thiel said of Cambridge.
