Europe opens comment period on nanotech

Abstract:
The European Commission has started a discussion on its strategy for developing Europe’s nanotechnology industry, and is seeking comments on its proposals put forward in June. While the European Union is at the forefront of research into nanotechnology, this position is in danger of being eroded, with both the US and Japan investing more per capita in the new technology.
