GE research center plans $25M expansion

Abstract:
Just two years after launching a $100 million renovation, General Electric Co. will lay out another $25 million to beef up its Global Research Center in Niskayuna. The center, one of four for the company worldwide, develops innovative technologies for GE's businesses. The growth here will focus on biosciences, nanotechnology and alternative energy, Healy said.
