EU Invites India For Joint Research

Abstract:
The European Union has decided to forge partnerships with India in its 20 billion euro research and technology development programme. It has identified life sciences, genomics and biotechnology for health, nanotechnology and nanosciences, among others, for Indian participation in the research programme. The budget of the EU RTD programme will be increased to 40 billion euros for a four-year period from 2006-2010.
