Officials weigh options of funds received

Abstract:
Ronald Elsenbaumer, vice president for research, must weigh the needs of numerous researchers as he determines how to spend $1.93 million to be funneled here through a consortium of nanotechnology research schools in Texas. Administrators await the university’s portion of $10 million in federal funds granted to SPRING, the Strategic Partnership for Research in Nanotechnology, so they can begin purchasing equipment.
