Nano business competition planned
Abstract:
Local advocates of the emerging nanotechnology industry have created a National Nanotechnology Business Idea Competition, which will provide entrepreneurs with $75,000 in prize money. “We’re thinking we’ll get 500 submissions,” said Mark Brandt, founder of the Nano-Network, a networking organization focused on nanotechnology. “That’s just totally a guess.” Mr. Brandt is also forming a venture capital fund to invest in nano companies.
