Nanogen Reports 2003 Fourth Quarter and Year-End

Abstract:
Nanogen, Inc. (Nasdaq: NGEN), developer of molecular diagnostic products, today announced its financial results for the fourth quarter and year ended December 31, 2003. Total revenues for the quarter ended December 31, 2003 were $2.1 million compared to $1.7 million in the third quarter of 2003 and $12.1 million in the fourth quarter of 2002. Fourth quarter product revenue increased by 45% over the prior quarter on the basis of eight new instrument sales and one reagent rental.
