Village explores upgrades

Abstract:
Citizens and government officials in Deerfield are taking more steps toward improvements in the village. According to Village Supervisor Jim Hyder, the village is running tests to determine the feasibility of implementing a pilot program called "nano-filtration" at Deerfield's water filtration plant. He said the new system will help the village meet new state requirements for drinking water that become effective Jan. 1.
